Our client in the Manufacturing environment (Plastic Extrusion) is seeking a CNC operator to join their team. 

Responsibilities

• Develop alternative designs to meet customer requirements and standards when required and provide drawings and specifications for customer approval.Develop die drawings (plotting drawings).
• Review/clarify die drawing dimensions to ensure accuracy.
• Implement/document design changes.
• Prepare diskette for wire cutting service.
• Maintain drawing/design file.
• Maintain a journal of all the dies produced by the company (drawing number, date of when the drawings was entered into the computer, customer name and downsized sketch of the drawing).
• Provide complete and accurate design input (tooling).
• Any changes to drawings must be approved by your supervisor.
• Document die changes/modifications.
• Order and maintain supplies for computer and plotter, etc
• Report any deficiencies in systems, facilities, machinery, equipment and/or tools immediately to your
  supervisor.
• Record and/or report product damage/nonconformities to your supervisor as required.
• Comply with Quality Assurance policies and procedures.
• Participate and contribute to effective production efficiency.
• All and/or any duties as assigned by your supervisor are to be included in your daily routine.

Qualification/ Skills

• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.

• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).

• Working knowledge of Master Cam.

• Knowledge of applicable computer software.

Monday to Friday

Occasionally a day on the weekend is required 

8 am to 4:30
