About the Role

Heritage Holding is looking for one Spring Term Analyst Intern to work out of the firm’s Boston office. We are looking for a highly driven individual who embodies the entrepreneurial spirit, is a quick learner, shares our passion for acquiring and running businesses, and is ready to take on a large amount of responsibility. Heritage Holding is looking for a commitment level of 4-5 days per week for the spring semester – remote work is NOT acceptable.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a robust pipeline of qualified deal leads through cold calls, emails, CRM tracking, and industry research
• Lead sourcing efforts by proactively reaching out to business owners and founders across target industries
• Develop relationships with business owners and sellers throughout the deal process
• Build financial models to evaluate investment opportunities
• Lead preparation of internal and external investment materials, including memos and investor presentations
• Coordinate and manage due diligence workflows across legal, financial, operational, and commercial areas
• Support internal Heritage firmwide initiatives

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Current student or recent graduate with a track record of academic and extracurricular success
• Strong work ethic and demonstrated desire to learn
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
• Entrepreneurial and team-oriented spirit
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

About Heritage Holding

Heritage Holding is a Boston-based private investment firm targeting lower middle market businesses that generate between two and ten million dollars of EBITDA. Alex de Pfyffer and Ross Porter founded Heritage as a Search Fund after graduating from HBS in 2015. Heritage has since closed on a $220m first institutional fundraise in August of 2024 and completed ~36 acquisitions across 11 platform companies in B2B services, including telecom, IT and cyber security services, healthcare services, and skilled trades services.
