Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Process daily transactions (invoices, payments, receipts).
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and credit cards.
• Prepare and analyze job cost reports weekly/monthly.
• Review development agreements.
• Track and reconcile job costs by project, phase, and cost code
• Assist with Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules and cost-to-complete reporting
• Support project managers with cost reports and budget variance analysis.
• Review vendor invoices for accuracy, coding, and proper approvals.
• Assist in preparing internal financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Maintain organized documentation for projects, contracts, and financial records.
• Support development entity accounting and intercompany transactions.
• Perform other accounting and finance tasks as assigned.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-2 years of accounting experience (construction or real estate preferred)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, Yardi, Procore, or similar)
